In 1970, Ron Finch created Odin’s Axel. Motorcycle World Magazine named it “Best U.S. Custom.” In 2005, Finch restored the bike. It is now even more stunning than it was originally.
This custom is owned by Donna and Darryl Smith of Rochester, NY. Odin’s Axel has made appearances in numerous shows. For example, the Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock, Arkansas proudly showcased this iconic custom.
Odin is a Norse mythological being. Encyclopedias describe him as an immensely wise, one-eyed old man. Odin has varied characteristics. He rules over war, poetry, the runes (runic alphabets), and magic.
